High Load 3D Curved Surface Universal Clamp Fixture for Processing and Production Lines - 'X-Clamp Series' For those struggling to secure irregularly shaped workpieces in prototype, processing, and production lines! It firmly holds the workpiece with high load capacity. In production lines, prototype processing, and assembly lines, specialized molds and fixtures are necessary for securing irregular shapes, which takes time to prepare, and long-term storage of fixtures can be challenging. The 'X-CLAMP' is a high load capacity 3D curved surface universal clamp fixture that can be attached to machine vises and solves these problems all at once. Each pin is pushed up by an independent spring, allowing it to conform to the shape of irregularly shaped objects, clamping the workpiece securely from both sides like a vise. It can tighten with a maximum of 7 to 12 KNm (approximately 500 to 1200 Kgf), making it suitable for machining processes such as drilling, milling, and deburring. 【New Product Information (Released February 2019)】 In production lines and prototype processing, specialized jigs are required to secure irregularly shaped items, which takes time to prepare and is also difficult to store. The revolutionary jig that solves these problems all at once is the three-dimensional curved surface universal clamp jig from Matrix in Germany. Among Matrix products, the 'X-CLAMP series' is particularly used in production and processing lines that require high torque holding power. However, since it does not automatically secure pin shapes, it could not fully accommodate line automation. The newly developed 'FLEX-CLAMP' utilizes the factory's compressed air to automatically secure and release pin bundles. Its applications include workholding jigs or auxiliary jigs for automated production lines (milling, drilling, deburring, etc.), positioning for temporary storage of heavy items, and even pickup jigs for robot handling, making it versatile for various uses depending on ideas.
